Can I afford this?
Yes. You really can. We work with everyone from small business owners to large corporations. Each client is different and has a different set of needs, we won’t upsell you on options that are unnecessary.
What does the process look like?
All our client’s projects and needs are very different, there’s no cookie cutter process to what we do. We like to meet with you in your enviornment, get a feel for how you work, and go from there. Does that mean you have to be local to work with us? Absolutely not. Phone call and virtual meetings work just as well!
What do I need to supply?
If we are doing design work, we love it when clients show us items they’ve found online that are similar to their taste, colors, and overall look and feel of what they want. If we are doing web or online ordering, we just ask to see what you are using currently and what programs you are running to see how we can utilize the tools you have and bring them up to speed with what you would like to see.
What platform will my site be built on?
Here at Lyrical we believe in using the right tool for the job. The major technology and framework used on our websites include: Python with Django, WordPress and Magento, PHP, Woocommerce and WordPress for eCommerce projects.
Our front end frameworks include javascript, jQuery, VUE.js, as well as pure javascript, HTML5, CSS, and Bootstrap. If you ask us what language we use, it could consist of anything from R for statistics, python for rapid application development, or PostGIS for mapping applications.
How much input do I have in the process?
As much as you want! While in the discovery phase we want to learn about you and your project goals. Tell us what you envision and we can help with best practices, or steer us in a direction and we can give you a couple options to choose from. You can be hands on with us, or handed a final project. It’s all up to you!
I already have a website, can we integrate that with a new one?
Of course! We can migrate your current site content to a new build, or we can build directly onto what you have. It’s all up to you! Our development team is well versed in many computer languages as well as creating beautiful WordPress sites you can manage yourself!
What programs do you use?
Our designers work primarly with the Adobe Creative Cloud Suite, but do not limit ourselves to just that. We use the best tool for the job, whatever that may be. We are well versed in a number of different programs to suit your projects design needs.
Who owns the final design?
You do! Once your project is done you will have the finished files with the correct file formats for you to upload to social media, add to an email signature, or send to any shop for printing. In most cases, you will be able to update the website yourself, or we can help you with anything you run into down the road.
